One who plants these trees and takes care of them will always prosper.

The shloka is from Skanda Purana – It is ancient but is completely valid in present times. CO2 Emissions are slowly poisoning our planet and all of us have to take initiative to save it. Our ancestors knew the future of humanity very well, that’s why they provided us with hints for a solid solution to uncontrolled carbon emissions. Planting trees is one way to curb the ever growing carbon pollution. However, more needs to be done.

The carbon emissions for per unit of electricity produced is estimated to be in the range of 0.91 to 0.95 kg/kWh for CO2

How Can You Help Keep Mother Earth Healthy?

Most of us don’t realize that our everyday lifestyle is a big contributor to increasing the carbon footprint.

A carbon footprint refers to the total amount of greenhouse gases (including methane and carbon dioxide) generated by our actions. The average global carbon footprint is close to 4 tons. The average global carbon footprint per annum must be below 2 tons in order to avoid a 2 degree rise in global temperatures.

It takes time to reduce our individual carbon footprints by 16 tons to 2 tons. We can make a difference by making small changes in our lives, such as eating less meat, avoiding connecting flights, and drying our clothes more efficiently and above all get an energy audit of our properties done so that we can make a difference in making this world a better place.

In short larger Carbon Footprint means more carbon being produced, more carbon means rise in global temperature. We don’t need to tell you what damages global warming can do.

The Bottom Line Here Is - We Need To Reduce Carbon Footprint

More Carbon

Rise In Temperature

Ecological Imbalance

Downfall of Humanity

More Carbon

Rise In Temperature

Ecological Imbalance

Downfall of Humanity

But The Question Is

HOW?

Efficient Energy Audit Effectively Reduces Carbon Footprint

An energy audit is an inspection survey and an analysis of energy flows for energy conservation. It may include a process or system to reduce the amount of energy input into the system without negatively affecting the output.

In other terms – It is a process that helps you identify less efficient appliances and processes in your home and then provides apt advice on corrective interventions.

It is generally conducted in following steps:

  • Evaluates the efficiency of all process/ systems that use energy.
  •  Starts at the electricity meter, locating all energy sources coming into a facility.
  •  Involves preparation of account of the energy flow to various segments of Sub-transmission and Distribution system.
  •  Measurement from the input level up to the end consumer level in order to ascertain the losses at different voltage levels.
  •  Done to improve energy efficiency.

The sole objective of conducting an energy audit for your home/factory is to create a  vital information base for overall energy conservation covering essentially energy utilization analysis and evaluation of energy conservation measures.

Reducing Carbon Footprint is necessary, but how would you do it if you cannot pinpoint the exact points of generation. Energy Audit is the updated tool for the Eco Warriors that helps them pin-point the sources of carbon generation and then provide interventions to reduce them and eventually monetize them in the form of Carbon Credits.

“The human mind needs incentive for everything and carbon credits are an incentive for saving our mother earth.”

Reducing carbon emissions can make you earn money!

1 carbon credit corresponds to 1 metric tonne of carbon dioxide prevented from entering the atmosphere.

Suppose,

You get an energy audit of your home done and your carbon footprint is 2 metric tons that was reduced to zero then you get 2 carbon credits which can be traded in the market.

In some markets 1 carbon credit = 15 USD
